My pal Naomi came over today with a really special surprise. She brought me a NIGHT WATCHMAN for greenwater. He is so funny. Poor guy has an ache in his back — likely from pulling deviants out of the cellar. So much love and care went into his creation and I am the lucky recipient! Thanks, Nome!!

Naomi has been working feverishly in her home studio building, sculpting, painting and adorning the most eclectic array of characters… I say she works feverishly because she can’t help it–the characters are inside her and she has to build them outside of herself to set them free. Many of them share quirks with her relatives, but the names have been changed to protect the innocent. She is building a collection of these personalities that she may one day exhibit, sell or display in private collections–like mine!
