I am Kristin Allen, an artist & designer with many years of work experience in marketing, communications, product and graphic design. I love to teach what I know to people in search of their own creative practice. By sharing my methodologies and techniques, I aim to inspire others to discover their unique visual voice.

I believe that when we share the same worktable, artmaking has the power to build community.

Ever since I moved into this funny little garage at the southern entrance to New London, I have discovered a passion for community building, creative placemaking and collaborative art projects. Through in-person workshops and virtual ‘creativity circles’ that are hosted from greenwater, I have been busy connecting people and ideas. We belong to each other in the pursuit of a creative practice and I am finding that those connections stick.
